A vibrant youth, boundless wealth
The ancient Chinese proverb says, "Even a withered tree can sprout again in spring, but a person cannot be young twice." Life is only once, and we should not live it in vain; even though life is short, we should not live it aimlessly. Time is money, life is wealth, and youth is the capital we use to create wealth; youth is the true meaning of realizing the value of life.
We, in our youth, need to work hard; even water dripping on stone cannot wear it down in a day. Right now, as we face the pressure of the college entrance examination countdown, we are striving diligently, and youth is creating a great wealth for us. But I am still playing around every day, unaware of the urgency of time. The college entrance examination countdown is on, and I, in my youth, should wake up. Striving is what I should do; next year's college entrance examination will determine my future. Wake up! Face your situation, face your youth! Don't waste it, don't be complacent. Accumulate little by little, strive hard, and reap the wealth that belongs to me. Heaven entrusts great responsibilities to those who are capable. King Wen was imprisoned and then wrote the *Zhouyi* (Book of Changes); Confucius was in distress and then wrote the *Spring and Autumn Annals*; Qu Yuan was exiled and then composed *Li Sao* (Encountering Sorrow); Zuo Qiuming lost his sight and then wrote *Guoyu* (Discourses of the States); Sun Bin had his kneecaps removed and then compiled *The Art of War*; Han Fei was imprisoned in Qin and then wrote *Shuonan* (On the Difficulty of Persuasion) and *Gufen* (Solitary Indignation); the three hundred poems of the *Book of Poetry* were mostly written by sages and worthies in times of hardship. All of this is because they were young and full of vigor, persevering to complete their works. With their will and faith, they reshaped their souls, and with time and youth, they composed masterpieces that will be remembered for generations, leaving behind a vast material wealth for posterity.
Youth is the time when we are full of vigor and vitality; let us not waste it and let our youth slip away. While we are still living in our prime, possessing plenty of time to create wealth in our lives, we may not realize that our youth itself is a precious treasure. Today, many young people, facing immense life pressures, begin to lament their age; confronted with the harsh realities of the workplace, they return home to rely on their parents; burdened by raising children, supporting elderly parents, buying cars and houses, they... are unable to face the reality of their current circumstances, abandoning their own path forward, leaving behind the saying "the city is full of traps," and turning back to the countryside, unaware that "the rural roads are even more slippery, and people's hearts are even more complex." They are even less aware that they are now capitalists with substantial assets. Why not cherish their present time, youth, and life, inevitably allowing their youth to be tainted with a sense of weariness?
Youth is a beautiful painting; time flows by, youth remains, but time cannot be frozen in that moment to leave behind a beautiful picture. Youth is both a period of life and a state of mind. Nearly 80 years old, Wang Deshun, dubbed the "most handsome grandpa" by netizens, walked the runway. On his sixth birthday, he wrote: "I didn't look forward to your arrival... It symbolizes my maturity and foreshadows my aging. Now I refuse to grow old." He walked the runway, showcasing himself to the audience and leaving a beautiful impression on many, like a beautiful painting swirling in the sky. He lived a vibrant life, making the most of his remaining time and maximizing his own value. This is youth—captivating hearts with the wealth of time.
A lifetime is at most 100 years. Experiencing life, we feel that time passes very long and agonizingly, but when we calculate the time, we realize how short and precious our existence is. Yet, that couldn't stop Bernstein, one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century, from achieving instant fame, or Chen Zi'ang, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty, from becoming famous overnight after studying under Yu Shi at the age of 21. At that time, youth was boundless, and wealth was everywhere.
Time is precious, youth is priceless, life quietly slips away. Cherish time, let youth bloom. Born a capitalist, you possess the most precious time and a vast amount of youth. Spread your wings, unleash your potential, and where there's a will, there's a way.
