11 Good Habits That Will Benefit You
In the new year,
strive to cultivate these good habits
that will benefit you for life:
1. Don't bring your phone to bed.
The allure of mobile phones is too great. Bringing them to bed often delays your normal bedtime. Furthermore, sitting on your phone in bed is very harmful to your eyes and cervical spine.
Avoid your phone before bed, and read a book for a while after getting into bed. Go to bed on time and ensure you get enough sleep.
2. Eat breakfast
. Always eat breakfast to ensure sufficient nutrient intake! After all, our bodies haven't eaten all night when we wake up. If we don't replenish our energy in time, it's easy to wear down our bodies.
Start your day right with a nutritious breakfast to recharge your body.
3. Be 10 minutes early
for everything. It's best to leave yourself some leeway in everything you do. Being 10 minutes early allows you enough time to handle unexpected situations and prevents you from always being in a state of urgency.
Getting up 10 minutes earlier and leaving 10 minutes earlier will make your whole day much more relaxed.
4. Prioritize Tasks:
Before starting work each day, don't rush to do whatever comes to mind. Take a moment to calmly organize your thoughts and prioritize tasks. Do the urgent and important tasks first, then move on to the less urgent and less important ones. Finish all tasks on the same day. This ensures both high efficiency and effective time management.
5. Learn to Say No:
There's a classic line: "I always gladly accept your help, but if I can't help you even once, you'll develop a strange 'dislike' for me." I don't want to put myself in that position.
Learn to say no when necessary; don't let those you help become dependent on you.
6. Learn to Empathize:
Avoid asking for help unless absolutely necessary. Before asking, try to put yourself in the other person's shoes and ask yourself if you would help or not. If the answer is no, then think of other solutions. The
same principle applies to many things. Try to see things from the other person's perspective; you'll find that your approach to situations is truly important.
7. Listen patiently to others.
First, listening patiently to others is a sign of respect and a basic courtesy.
Second, "Among three people walking together, there is always something to learn." If we are attentive, we can always gain something from the words and actions of others. Therefore, listening patiently is also an important way to absorb wisdom.
8. Maintain a regular exercise routine
. Life is about movement; cultivate the habit of regular exercise.
Whether it's going to the gym, jogging in your neighborhood, or doing aerobics in your room, anything is fine. Cycling or walking to and from work are also good options.
9. Learn to manage your finances.
I've seen many people who earn a lot but still live paycheck to paycheck. They all seem to share a common problem: they don't know where their money goes. Every penny is spent haphazardly, with no concept of financial management. There's a saying: "If you don't manage your money, your money won't manage you."
Financial management is a major part of life; only by managing your finances can you accumulate wealth. Don't strive for great wealth, but rather for the ability to cope with unexpected situations.
10. Stay away from complaining and reflect on yourself
. When you encounter problems, don't rush to complain. Complaining won't bring success; it will only damage relationships.
Look for the reasons within yourself, ask yourself what you could have done better, correct it if you have, and strive to improve if you don't. If everyone could have this awareness, then success next time wouldn't be far away.
11. Control your emotions and be a gentle person.
Everyone has a temper and moments of capriciousness, but learn to manage your emotions yourself and don't take it out on others. A bad temper not only doesn't solve problems, but it also complicates simple things.
In 2020, set yourself a small goal and become a better person!

A gentle and sunny day has something to say.
