A deep love hidden in an inconspicuous serial number

Every morning when he woke up, he would always be dressed in clothes she had washed for him, not only warm and comfortable but also exuding a charming fragrance.

He was amazed that his attire always matched his daily activities; for example, when receiving clients, he would wear a suit and tie; when inspecting the front lines, he would wear a zip-up jacket; and when "on camera" with employees at work, he would wear work clothes...

You see, he had to handle so many complicated matters every day, and by the end of the day, he was often exhausted, with no time to think about what to wear the next day.

That day, when he woke up, he couldn't find his clothes and frantically searched around.

He even went to look for them naked in his room, rummaging through the wardrobe, but couldn't find them anywhere. When he turned around, he suddenly realized that all his clothes had been "invited" out of the wardrobe and hung on a clothesline with hooks, a red bow tied in the middle, quite eye-catching, like a "38th parallel," dividing the various clothes into two sections.

He noticed that she had written different numbers on each clothes hanger. The hangers to the left of the "bow tie" were filled with his everyday suits and zip-up jackets; the right side held his usual essentials.

Today was Thursday, and he should be wearing the work clothes on hanger number 4. Just as he reached for it, she returned from work and hurriedly said, "Don't rush, let me do it!"

  He frowned, "What's wrong?"

She smiled gently, "You forgot? You're going on a business trip today. It's windy in spring, so you have to wear the clothes on hanger number 13 again." She then moved the black trench coat from hanger number 13 to hanger number 4.

He smiled, "You're so thoughtful!" His face was filled with happiness as he spoke…

With a bang, he closed the door and left. She then instructed him, "I'll be working overtime these next few days, so I might not have time to take care of you. Tomorrow is Friday, and the forecast says it will rain. I heard you have a meeting at the bureau. As usual, you need to wear the suit from the size 5 clothes hanger, and also the raincoat from the size 10. Don't forget… Also, the day after tomorrow is the weekend. If you're home, you can wear any of the casual clothes from the size 6 or 7 clothes hangers…"

Each word of advice, each simple expression, brought tears to his eyes, blurring his vision. He wanted to say "thank you," but it was too late.

A small clothesline, filled with his wife's tenderness, might occasionally have its numbers added, merged, or rearranged, but the deep love within those unassuming numbers would never change, always hidden within them…
